We live in Valpolicella, in the foothills of the Dolomites, between Garda lake and Verona. The valley is cultivated with cherrrytrees, olivetrees and vineyards, these have been cultivated since antiquity. Our valley, almost magically produces world-famous red wines: "Valpolicella", the "Amarone" and the "Reciotto", not to mention the nearby whites: Soave, Custoza and Lugana.
In this beauty we have restored an old stone tobacco drying barn to make our home, generous rooms for the Bed&Breakfast and additional space for workshops. Besides the natural beauty and quiet our laboratories are available to guests to work with clay and to satisfy the curiosities of the palate from food to wine.
Excursions
Guests may walk or bicycle in the sweet Lessinian foothills to discover these lands inhabited since the Neolithic era and admire natural and architectonic beauties.
The paths are simple and of different length. In groups of four or more with advance reservations, we can walk them together.
Guest Rooms
The guest rooms are three. They are very large and comfortable with a bed and private bathroom. Each room is uniquely furnished with plenty of window light.
One can also choose a suite with a small kitchen for longer stays. In every room there is a third and fourth single bed..
 
 
Educational Workshops
Several courses are offered on fixed dates throughout the year. Also groups of 4-12 people may request a workshop on dates of their choice. Workshops just for you. Individually tailored courses and guided visits available by special arrangement: Choose your interests from learning Italian to finding the "osterie" where the locals eat, drink and live the life of Italy. We speak English and German and welcome your questions and ideas for the most interesting we can arrange for you.
Gastronomy
Discover the secrets of the Mediterranean cuisine combined with the generous wines of the Valpolicella. Weeklong classes on selected subjects. Visits to our winerys and oil/cheese makers and markets to choose the correct products.
Wine-tasting
Verona,an historic city with its Roman arena and its medieval streets and architechture is an important center of production of red wines. Enter the history of a wine to taste all its shade and subtleties. Why choose a D.O.C. wine? Appreciating the difference between a Valpolicella and a Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso, discover the magic of the big wines. Weeklong and weekends courses offered. Visits to wineries and growers.
Ceramics
Creating objects with basic techniques to be chosen among: sheet,"colombino", sculpture, bas-relief, oxide decoration and texture decoration. Courses are suited to adults who are trying pottery for the first time or who wish to gain further experience. Firing in electric kiln, wood kiln and raku.
Cheese tasting class
Learn how to choose the cheese for every occasion: matching it with the wines and the food that exalt its taste. Cook with cheese in the most suitable way! Let's discover the basic differences among different kinds of cheese, the taste, the curds, the paste and the seasoning.
Olive Oil
Explore the oil culture beginning at the Lake Garda area travelling by taste to the regions of Southern Italy. What are the characteristics of an oil? When to use one or another. Between a "bruschetta"and a tasting let's learn to chose "our" oil.
Villa rental
You may wish to bring your family + friends to the Valpolicella for an entire week. Rent our entire house (3 large bedrooms + 1 single bedroom, a large kitchen + large dining room/living room) accomodating up to 7 adults + 6 children.
